| Objectives: | You will be able to define the term "electronic market", understand the characteristics of eMarket participants and standard transactions. You will also be able to classify eMarkets and eMarket systems, understand the role of eIntermediaries, and know about organisational forms connected to business requirements for eMarkets. |
| Prerequisites: | You should be familiar with the first learning module on this topic, "eBusiness Applications Overview". Moreover, you should have sound general knowledge regarding information technology (communication technology, operating systems, programming languages), and have a basic knowledge of business processes and organisation. Finally, you should have an interest in designing an eBusiness application or parts thereof. |
